About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our Howden Rural team in Scotland. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships, and developing a book of business in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attract new clients from the marketplace and develop a strong understanding of their insurance needs.
  • Support the Division in achieving sales targets by managing existing clients and attracting new business.
  • Actively cross-sell products from other Divisions to increase revenue and expand our customer base.
  • Ensure that clients are correctly and adequately insured for all of their insurance exposures and provide accurate advice.
  • Maintain professional competence by complying with the Training and Competence procedures of the firm.
Requirements
  • Insurance or financial services experience is desirable, but not essential. A background in agricultural or rural business is highly valued.
  • A proven track record of sales is preferred, with a strong understanding of Corporate Governance and financial awareness.
  • Excellent oral, written, and in-person communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and network effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and present information.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually, with strong time management skills and a proactive approach.
