Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of the distribution fleet, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing drivers, maintaining equipment, and implementing procedures to maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Management: Effectively manage the distribution fleet, ensuring timely deliveries and high-quality customer service.
  • Driver Supervision: Supervise and train drivers to maintain a high level of professionalism and adherence to company policies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are always in good working condition.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all drivers are aware of and comply with company health and safety policies, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
  • On-the-Job Training: Provide regular training and development opportunities to help drivers reach their full potential.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with drivers, warehouse personnel, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Licence: Must hold a valid Class 2 Licence.
