Cardiology Nurse Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Specialist to join our team at St Bartholomew's Hospital, one of the largest NHS trusts in the country. The successful candidate will have experience working in cardiology and/or cardiac cath labs department, with a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care.
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main Duties:
- To work within the cath lab multidisciplinary team to provide care to critically ill patients in a complex acute environment.
- To be a safe and effective practitioner able to provide high quality nursing care to the patient and their families, in accordance with agreed Trust and local policies.

- Nursing Degree/Registered Nurse
- NMC Registration/ NMC PIN
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate an ability to listen and comprehend
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and organize workload
- Ability to manage potentially difficult situations
- Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate interventions and/or treatments
- Ability to develop own skills and knowledge
- Physiological assessment of acutely unwell patient
- Ability to assess and escalate deteriorating patients
- Maintain own knowledge up to date to provide evidence based care at all times
