Tec Partners is seeking a Global Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at their Great Yarmouth facility. This role plays a vital part in managing all aspects of shipping and logistics, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, coordinating cost-effective and timely shipments, and driving efficient global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of despatch notes, import/export commercial invoices, and cargo summary tickets
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for quotations and facilitate efficient worldwide equipment shipping
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements for imports and exports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistical files, satisfying audit requirements
  • Provide expert logistical advice to colleagues across global sites
  • Review and validate freight invoices and manage documentation to meet record-keeping standards
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota and support additional company locations as needed
  • Manage the creation of purchase orders for freight invoices and assist with internal import/export audits

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 standard grades (or equivalent), including English and Maths, expertise in export license control, Customs Procedure Codes, and goods classification, solid knowledge of INCOTERMS, IPR, RGR, and hazardous material handling (IATA & IMDG), and proven experience in international logistics, with at least 5 years of experience.
