Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Barista to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a Lead Barista, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company policies, store operating standards, and procedures are communicated effectively and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train Team Members in performing all duties.
  • Oversee and evaluate all training of new and current Team Members.
  • Ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by leading the team by example.
  • Participate in taking of physical inventories.
  • Help reduce and eliminate shrink.
  • Maintain safety as the top priority for our Team Members, guests, and products.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Prior experience in Restaurant/Barista or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Safety certification.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
