Cancer Screening Support Specialist

We are seeking a Cancer Screening Support Worker to join our team at The Upper Room. The successful candidate will have basic IT skills and excellent people skills, with the ability to undertake a short survey with our service users and encourage them to step forward for cancer screening.

The role involves practical support, such as helping to register with a GP, arranging appointments, and providing temporary accommodation and transport to and from hospital appointments.

We are looking for someone who is organised, patient, and empathetic, with good communication skills. The survey can be undertaken via a mobile phone or laptop, and the role will be on-site at our W12 location.

We require a DBS check and references, as well as the right to work in the UK. Health or social care experience is advantageous but not essential.

The role will be Monday to Friday, 4pm to 6pm, with some flexibility possible for the right candidate.
