About Our Client:
Our client is a leading provider of modification and overhaul services to the rolling stock industry. With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and passenger comfort, they offer a range of services including modifications, overhauls, and maintenance programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement safe and cost-effective countermeasures to address product issues, including safety, reliability, and passenger comfort issues.
  2. Lead technical maintenance and modification campaigns, ensuring on-time delivery in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  3. Build and develop the company's technical engineering function, driving innovation and improvement.
  4. Plan, schedule, and deliver on BOM's, work instructions, and electronic data recording forms for planned maintenance activities.
  5. Maintain accurate maintenance records of all activities related to specific projects, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  6. Take the lead on engineering change implementation to improve fleet and system performance and overall costs of maintenance.
  7. Oversee incident management activities, ensuring a safe and efficient response.

Requirements:

  1. HNC or above in an Engineering discipline.
  2. Extensive experience in rolling stock maintenance or asset management activities.
  3. Proven experience in project planning, governance, and execution.
  4. Strong engineering knowledge of traction rolling stock systems and maintenance legislation and regulations.
  5. Knowledge of standard rail industry legislation and standards.
  6. Strong understanding and awareness of health and safety.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft packages.
