Mechanical Fitter and Electrical Fitter

Vertiv is seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Derry, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install electrical and mechanical equipment, including switchgear and electromechanical systems.
- Work from drawings, manuals, and schematics to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
- Contribute to the fitting, building, or construction of various parts to ensure a smooth process of component amalgamation.
- Apply good workmanship and ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
- Work on own initiative with minimal supervision, adhering to Company policies and procedures.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on assembly of mechanical equipment and electromechanical systems.
- Technical knowledge to read and work from drawings, manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- C&G Mechanical Qualification and an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Electrical knowledge and experience of electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
- Experience of on-field service work or on-site installations.
- Familiar with Risk Assessments and Method statements.
