Weekend Sports Support Specialist

Strode College Sports Centre is seeking a part-time Sports Centre Assistant to work on weekends. This role plays a vital part in managing and maintaining our sports facilities, promoting them to both internal and external communities, and supporting college sports fixtures and enrichment programmes.
We require an individual with a Level 3 Sports Qualification and experience in organising and running sporting events.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Sports Centre Team in ensuring the sports facilities are managed and maintained
- Promote the sports facilities to internal and external communities
- Support college sports fixtures and enrichment programmes
Essential:
- Level 3 Sports Qualification
- Experience in organising and running sporting events
This is a part-time position working on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with varying hours (minimum of 8 hours every other weekend). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in sports management and event organisation.
Benefits- Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme
- Leave entitlement: 25 days per year plus bank holidays and additional discretionary days off at Christmas (pro rata for part-time)
The hourly rate for this role is £97, offering a competitive salary for a part-time position. The contract will be permanent, with pension and leave entitlement as described above.
