The Assistant Coach will also serve as game day manager and partner with the campus community and coaching staff to provide academic services for student athletes.

**Essential Functions:**

* Assist in the planning, development, and direction of all team training and conditioning activities.
* Assist in preparation and implementation of scouting reports, game for the Adaptive Athletics.
* Assist with the wheelchair basketball operations under the supervision of the Head Coach.
* Coordinates team travel, room reservations (on and off campus), and meals.
* Serves as game day manager. Partners with campus community and coaching staff in providing academic services for student athletes.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Science, Therapeutic Recreation, Disability, or related fields.
* Years of Experience: 2 years of experience coaching wheelchair sports or other adapted athletics and working with athletes with disabilities.
* Advanced knowledge of building relationships with disability advocacy groups, schools, community centers, and other stakeholders involved in adaptive sports.

**Desired Qualifications:**

* Salary Range: $37,900 - $56,900
* Location: Auburn, Alabama
