Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Culinary Experience Coordinator. As a key member of our volunteer team, you will have the opportunity to share your love of food with individuals who require specialist support.

Job Description: As a Culinary Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading cooking sessions that promote creativity, independence, and social interaction among our service users. Your passion for food and cooking will inspire others to explore new flavors, textures, and cuisines from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create engaging and varied cooking experiences that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to enhance cooking skills and confidence among service users.
  3. Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  4. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services and optimize outcomes for our service users.
  5. Communicate effectively with colleagues, service users, and families to ensure excellent customer service and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A genuine passion for food and cooking, with experience in planning and delivering creative culinary experiences.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  3. A Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and knowledge of safe food handling practices.
  4. Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  5. The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection procedures.
  6. A DBS check and satisfactory references will be required prior to commencement.
