Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled Care and Education Specialist to join our team at Salutem Care & Education. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes or in our residential settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting people with complex needs. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that promote independence, autonomy, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop flexible and engaging activity plans to encourage personal growth and autonomy
- SUPPORT individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs
- FACILITATE effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records
- OVERSEE medication processes and support individuals in self-administration
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols
About You:
- You are compassionate and empathetic, with a strong ability to build rapport with individuals and their families
- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other healthcare professionals
- You are detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- You are proactive and innovative, with a willingness to think creatively and develop new ideas and solutions
- You are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, and are passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- You are a team player, with a collaborative spirit and a willingness to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
