Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Suedheide Geniessen. As a key member of our Early Years team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our staff in delivering high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and purposeful experiences for children, aligned with our nursery's ethos and curriculum.
  • Enhance the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist staff in maintaining accurate records and accounts, including child learning journals and EyLog system updates.
  • Promote a positive and respectful work environment, leading by example and demonstrating impartiality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to embed an effective key person approach, enabling children to form secure attachments and identify training needs.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
  • Understand and implement the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
  • Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years.
  • Over 6 months' experience working in a senior position.
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating.
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
