Pension Trustee Support Specialist

As a key member of the Trustee team at Bruin Financial, you will play a vital role in the management and governance of defined benefit pension schemes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of these schemes, and you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of trustee meetings, including meeting packs, attendance, minutes, and action points.
Using our workflow monitoring system, you will ensure that all work targets are met and tasks are completed within statutory deadlines. You will also be the primary point of contact for clients and scheme members, providing timely and effective responses to their queries.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the drafting and review of scheme documents, such as annual accounts, summary funding statements, and scheme returns.
- Liaising with service providers, including actuaries, administrators, accountants, and lawyers, to manage scheme and member-specific tasks.
- Supporting trustees and potentially taking on a lead role in the management of scheme governance.
