Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of monthly Detailed Sales Analysis.
- Preparation of actual vs. budget overhead reports.
- Variance analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaising with external and internal auditors.
- Capex project spend control and analysis.
- Vendor Tooling spend control and analysis.
- Support with the preparation of the VAT return & Making Tax Digital.
- Support with tax pack preparation for outsourced provider.
- Preparation of statutory accounts and disclosure notes.
- Approval of payroll and ad hoc bank payments.
- Finance point of contact for HMRC Imports & Exports documentation/controls.
- Hold a relevant accountancy qualification.
- Excellent numeracy skills with proven finance experience.
- Manufacturing or automotive experience is desirable.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, prioritize workload, and be self-motivated.
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and present information to various levels.
- Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills a must.
- Previous Customs experience is desirable but not essential.
