About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our Special School Nursing Team. The successful candidate will work primarily in Henry Tyndale School, Farnborough, providing specialist support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and complex health conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified staff in the provision of care as detailed in individual care plans.
  • Develop rapport with patients and treat all patients, carers, and staff with dignity and respect.
  • Work with nursing staff, multi-disciplinary teams, and other allied health professionals.
  • Actively participate in team handovers, providing verbal reports as required.
  • Implement agreed standards of care provision in line with local Ward/Unit/community and Trust policies.

About Us

We have been working with other local NHS Trusts to create a new organisation, bringing together all community, mental health, and learning disability services from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. The new Trust will be comprised of all the services currently provided by Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, the community, mental health, and learning disability services provided by Isle of Wight NHS Trust, and child and adolescent mental health services delivered in parts of Hampshire by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
