About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to support the growth of our energy transition business in Europe. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for driving business development and go-to-market strategies across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and customer adoption in the energy transition sector.
  • Engage with key industry customers, AWS account teams, and strategic partners to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend and speak at industry events to build thought leadership and drive repeatable industry solutions.
  • Work closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the energy transition vertical.
  • Collaborate with the AWS product and services teams to evolve AWS offerings for rapid adoption by new energy customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
