Year 5 Teacher Position
We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join our school in Didcot Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the pastoral care of children in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and weaknesses.
- Developing maths ability, introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
- Helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
- Tracking children's progress and reporting back to parents.
Requirements:
- QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
- A creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful, and adaptable practitioner.
- Passionate about learning.
- Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 5 environment.
- Able to communicate passion to children and parents.
