Year 5 Teacher Role
We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join our team at a supportive one-form entry school in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, QTS, and PGCE, with a passion for teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting teamwork.
- Develop maths ability, introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
- Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents.
Requirements
- QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
- Passionate about learning and committed to delivering outstanding practice in the classroom.
- Able to communicate effectively with children and parents.
