Job Title: Paraplanner - City of London

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paraplanner to join our team in the City of London. As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting our Wealth Planners in managing clients' planning needs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Wealth Planners in managing clients' planning needs and solutions
  • Develop relationships of trust with clients
  • Attend client meetings with Wealth Planners to broaden understanding of advisory process and strengthen relationships
  • Take responsibility for timely drafting of client reason-why letters
  • Assist Wealth Planners in assessing and researching options and solutions for clients
  • Handle other administrative duties promptly, including letters, new client take-on forms, and preparation of advisory correspondence/annual reviews
  • React to all client-related enquiries in a timely manner and maintain a record of responses
  • Deal with insurance companies to obtain client policy information or new illustrations and product information
  • Check that new business and client files are compliant and in line with procedures
  • Work closely with Wealth Planning support team and delegate administrative work as required
  • Maintain and update knowledge through continual professional development (CPD) and examinations, where suitable
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Keen interest in and good understanding of Wealth Management and financial planning industries
  • Experience working within financial services sector, ideally for wealth management firm or financial advisory practice with HNW client base
  • FCA approved Level 4 RDR compliant qualification in financial planning or equivalent
