Job Title: Paraplanner

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team in London. As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for providing full support to our Advisers and Financial Planning Executives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse clients' circumstances, portfolios, and objectives to prepare recommendation reports for Advisers.
  • Provide technical, administrative, and research support to Advisers, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy.
  • Undertake whole-of-market research, including investments, pensions, and protection plans, to support Advisers in providing holistic financial advice.
  • Liaise with the Regulatory & Technical team to ensure advice is compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritise work in your queue by liaising with Advisers on a regular basis, ensuring timely delivery of advice.
  • Build strong working relationships with other teams in the firm and third-party product providers.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings, delivering group and individual training on topics relevant to the role.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient client records and data.
Requirements:
  • CII Diploma in Financial Planning (as a minimum).
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A high standard of personal organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience within Private Wealth Management.
  • Experience of working to targeted service standards and procedures.
  • A good working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ambitious and goal-orientated.
  • Evidence of continual learning and development of skills and knowledge.
  • Experience of working unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Good IT skills covering MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and back-office systems.
