Academic Lead for Year 6 at Wayman Learning Trust

We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Primary Teacher to take on the role of Academic Lead for Year 6 at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment and will be passionate about learning. The school is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded confident children equipped for their future and is looking for a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.
The school is an independent school with a good Ofsted rating and a very friendly atmosphere. It is easily accessible via public transport links and has a very supportive staff structure. The school's academic results over the years have been excellent and their support structures for staff and students are fantastic. It is a really great place to work.
We are looking for a candidate who is a creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom and will be able to communicate their passion to children and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- QTS and PGCE
- Strong academic record
- Experience of teaching Year 6
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
