We are seeking a qualified SEN Science Tutor to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust, specializing in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized one-on-one science lessons to students with special educational needs.
  • Use hands-on, visual, and practical learning techniques to make complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging.
  • Work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience in Science.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Autism and ADHD.
  • Strong ability to create engaging practical lessons that simplify complex scientific concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
  • A clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.
