About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Male Senior Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with the individual, their family, and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements
  • QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with a willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience of supporting individuals with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Full UK manual driving license.
