About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Rheumatologist to join our dynamic team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our Rheumatology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist care to patients with rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and other related conditions.
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Develop and implement new treatments and services to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our Rheumatology services, including the creation of new pathways and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments and specialties to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work in various locations throughout the network of services provided by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of and enthusiasm for clinical teaching of postgraduate doctors and non-medical staff.
