About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our dynamic team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Rheumatology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical opinions on a range of rheumatological problems
  • Lead and contribute to the development of our Rheumatology services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve and advance the service
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of junior medical staff, nursing staff, and medical students
  • Participate in continuing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines

Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to work in various locations throughout the network of services provided by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching NHS Foundation Trust
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of and enthusiasm for clinical teaching and training
  • Ability to work with and lead others across professions
