About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Rheumatologist to join our dynamic team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Rheumatology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist care to patients with a range of rheumatological conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis, and connective tissue diseases.
- Lead and manage clinical teams, including junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Contribute to the development of our Rheumatology Department, including service redesign, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialties to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Person Specification
We are looking for a Consultant Rheumatologist who has:
Eligibility to work in the UK.Ability to work in various locations throughout the network of services provided by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.MRCP or equivalent qualification.Experience of working in a similar role, with a strong track record of clinical excellence and leadership.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.What We Offer
