Job Title: Nuclear Safety Specialist

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Nuclear Safety Specialist to join their team at the Sellafield site in Cumbria. As a Nuclear Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring radiation protection and maintaining safety compliance in one of the UK's most essential and complex environments.

The ideal candidate will hold either a Level 1 City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Radiation Protection and have experience working as a Health Physics Monitor in a nuclear facility. They will also possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and specialised monitoring of radiation levels across various areas on-site.
• Perform contamination checks on individuals, equipment, and materials to maintain a safe working environment.
• Accurately record and interpret radiation data, reporting findings as necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to personnel on radiation safety practices and procedures.
• Assist with emergency response measures related to radiation incidents.

The salary for this position is approximately £38,500 - £41,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits and training opportunities.
