About the Role

Aspens Services Ltd is a leading contract catering company specializing in school food. We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and lead our catering operations in a specific region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our catering operation for multiple Primary & Secondary school contracts, ensuring excellent food quality and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all services detailed in the contract are delivered and enhanced to meet client expectations
  • Review contract performance and profitability, controlling costs without compromising service quality
  • Manage and support the development of line reporting managers, maintaining high engagement levels
  • Support the sales function in retaining existing business and securing new opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards

About You:

We're looking for a seasoned hospitality/contract catering professional with experience in a similar role. You'll have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead client meetings, and a passion for delivering high standards and excellent service.

As a process-led individual, you'll ensure standards, procedures, and systems are maintained and followed at all times. You'll also have excellent computer skills and the ability to work independently with a desire to learn and achieve.
