Volunteer Support Coordinator

We are seeking a Volunteer to enhance the well-being and quality of life for individuals with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. This role will involve supporting events and daily activities, collaborating with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams, and engaging individuals in arts, crafts, music, or creative activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support events and daily activities with the activities team
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams
- Engage individuals in arts, crafts, music, or creative activities
- Foster a sense of community through socialising with residents
- Encourage participation in hobbies and interests
- Assist individuals in accessing local community resources and activities
- Organise and lead creative sessions, if desired
Requirements:
- Commit to relevant checks, training, and policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
- Promote a positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion
- Demonstrate commitment to Brainkind's aims, objectives, and core values
The estimated salary for this role is £8-12 per hour.
