We are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Children with Disability Team as a Mentor for Newly Qualified Social Workers. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of junior colleagues, share your expertise, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services that make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children, young people, and families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will hold a degree in social work or equivalent qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have significant experience working with children, young people, and their families. They will also possess a good knowledge of how to support disabled children and implement legislation and national standards relevant to the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and advice to Newly Qualified Social Workers to help them build confidence, resilience, knowledge, and skills in line with post-qualifying standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to devise effective interventions and improve outcomes for children, young people, and families.
