**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our busy Finance team at the Springfield Group. This full-time position is based in our office, with 37.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with business accounting and processing activities. This includes processing delivery tickets, invoices, and sub-contractor valuations, reconciling statements, and processing and monitoring utility bills. You will also assist with ad-hoc administration tasks and provide support to staff, external clients, or providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process financial transactions, including invoices and payments;
  2. Reconcile statements and maintain accurate records;
  3. Monitor and manage utility bills;
  4. Provide administrative support to the finance team;
  5. Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required;
Requirements:
  • Educated to at least SCQF Level 5 in Maths and English;
  • Able to work to deadlines and handle conflicting priorities effectively;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work in a busy office environment;
  • Able to prioritize and organize work;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, together with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet usage;
  • Sub-Contractor/CIS experience would be advantageous;

**Salary:** We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
