Financial Controller

Our client, a leading supplier of innovative technology products, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to oversee all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. This is a managerial role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and other financial reports as required.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including VAT returns and EC sales lists.
- Oversee financial audits and ensure timely completion of year-end accounts and tax returns.
- Manage daily accounting routines, including journals, bank transactions, and reconciliations.
- Lead and develop the accounts payable team.
- Implement and maintain effective credit control procedures.
- Oversee payroll and pensions administration for UK and overseas operations.
- Liaise with external accountants and bankers to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Provide training and support to staff on Sage50 access and usage.
