Job Description:

We are seeking a Wind Development Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and overseeing sustainable energy initiatives from conceptualization to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team to mitigate project risks and facilitate transitions from development to pre-construction.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses to identify renewable energy prospects that align with specific criteria.
  • Utilize software tools for site analysis and surveys to assess commercial wind and renewable ventures.
  • Guide projects toward timely contractual closure and planning consents.
  • Orchestrate external consultants for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning/permitting submissions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project registers for each project under your purview.
  • Effectively manage and monitor project risks and budgets, providing regular progress reports to the management team.
  • Formulate and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to cultivate trust-based relationships.
Your Profile:
  • 18 months - 5 years of renewable development experience.
  • Solid degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in project management, organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and effective communication.
  • Aptitude for collaborative work and stakeholder relationships.
