We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Anaesthetist to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital Southampton. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in the management of anaesthetic resources across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, pain services, and endoscopy.
- Work closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospital's Medical Director to develop Clinical Quality Standards and participate in our audit and clinical governance programme.
- Contribute to the planning and development of anaesthesia services, ensuring high-quality patient care and optimal resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the Hospital Medical Director to input into service and quality improvements.
- Current registration with the GMC's specialist register of anaesthetists.
- Several years' experience, with at least 2 years within the UK.
- Commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
