About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetist to join our team as a Lead Anaesthetist. As a key member of our anaesthesia department, you will be responsible for the management of anaesthetic resources across the hospital.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in anaesthesia, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the UK. You will be committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development, and will have a strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement.

As a Lead Anaesthetist, you will work closely with our team of Consultants and the hospital's Medical Director to develop and implement clinical quality standards and participate in our audit and clinical governance programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of anaesthetic resources across the hospital
  • Development and implementation of clinical quality standards

  • Collaboration with Consultants and hospital Medical Director

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the GMC's specialist register of anaesthetists
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the UK
  • Strong clinical background in anaesthesia
  • Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
