Job Summary

Practice Plus Group Hospital Southampton is seeking a highly skilled Lead Anaesthetist to join their growing team. As a key member of the anaesthesia team, you will be responsible for managing anaesthetic resources across the hospital, working closely with consultants and the hospital medical director to improve service and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

Provide anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, pain services, and endoscopy. Clinical sessions will be distributed between operating theatre, out-patient pre-assessment, and in-patient ward rounds.

About the Role

As a Lead Anaesthetist, you will have several years of experience, with at least 2 years in the UK. You will be committed to ongoing medical education and professional development, with support from Practice Plus Group for revalidation and reaccreditation schemes. You will also have the opportunity to develop into a specialist role of your interest.

Requirements
