About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Membercare Assistant to join our team at Bannatyne Fitness Centre in Cardiff. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards our members expect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitise all areas, including changing rooms, showers, toilets and poolside facilities
  • Ensure gym equipment, floors and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised regularly
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Follow health and safety regulations and report any issues or concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Provide excellent customer service and address member inquiries or requests promptly and courteously
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £11.44 per hour for over 21's and National Minimum Wage for under 21's. You will also enjoy various benefits, including flexible working hours, 28 days annual leave (increasing with tenure), free gym membership, and career development opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in domestic or cleaning roles
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks involving standing, walking, bending, lifting and using cleaning equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
