About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our Radiology Department as a Rota Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and populating medical staffing rotas on a daily basis, ensuring the service is resourced to the required levels each day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and populate medical staffing rotas on a daily basis
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Service Manager
  • Ensure service objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively
  • Coordinate all medical staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing
  • Accurately record planned and unplanned absences, such as leave or sickness
Requirements
  • Graduate or equivalent experience
  • Management of change (planning and implementation)
  • Experience of redesigning services
  • Budget / financial management
  • Experience of managing staff
  • High level verbal communication skills including negotiation skills
  • Written communication (literacy and numeracy) skills in report writing, business cases and implementation plans
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge of PAS or equivalent hospital system
  • Budgetary / Equipment / Resource management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player with leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to develop staff and create a positive employment environment
  • Ability to operate and think laterally at a strategic level with good analytical skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with health professionals within the Trust and external organisations
