Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sunderland, providing assessment and intervention packages for children and their families referred to the service with mental health, neurodiversity, and/or learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be able to demonstrate an understanding of a range of clinical conditions related to mental health. They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the Occupational Therapy provision within Sunderland CYPS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy within the team, focusing on self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • Work in the community setting to deliver assessment and intervention packages.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
