Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design/Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems, including structural supports, heat exchangers, and other mechanical components.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the energy and renewable energy sectors. You will be part of a dynamic team that designs and fabricates mechanical components, including structural supports, heat exchangers, and other mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and analyze mechanical systems, including structural supports, heat exchangers, and other mechanical components.
- Collaborate with the structural design team to advise on concepts and improvements to current projects.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations using software and hand calculations.
- Support project management, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Assist in producing user manuals and instructions.
- Conduct site surveys, condition assessments, and produce technical reports and recommendations.
- Substantial experience in a mechanical design role.
- Experience in structural analysis using Autodesk Robot or a similar analysis package.
- Pressure vessel design experience and familiarity with relevant international codes/standards.
- Design experience in air handling/filtration systems, heat exchangers, and acoustical calculations.
