We are seeking a highly motivated Complex Needs Assistant to join our team at Academics in Hailsham. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), psychology, criminology, or sociology.

Our school provides exceptional education and support for children aged 4-16 with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs.

The key responsibilities of this position include supporting children with complex needs, developing strong relationships with families, participating in forward planning with therapists, and understanding and managing challenging behaviour.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a comprehensive training program, generous holiday allowance (working in term time only), and career progression opportunities.

The requirements for this position include relevant qualifications or experience in SEN, the ability to develop positive relationships with children, and an understanding of challenging behaviour.
