Boden Group is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Systems Specialist to join our team in the South West region. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of fire and security systems across various sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake regular maintenance and service of fire, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and simulation exercises to guarantee system functionality in emergency situations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues, performing repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all tasks performed, including daily work sheets and test certificates.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and construction professionals to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relevant standards, including BS 5839-1 and PD 6662.
  • Experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm and detection equipment.
  • Proficiency in various intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • A valid UK driving license and flexibility to work at various sites across the South West region.
