Job Description:

We are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in environments with challenging behaviour and have a passion for working with students who have additional needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting teachers and pupils, helping to keep students engaged in their learning. They will also be required to work collaboratively with the school's SEN team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with SEMH needs
  • Working collaboratively with the school's SEN team
  • Providing behaviour support and interventions to students

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in environments with challenging behaviour
  • Passion for working with students who have additional needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the school's SEN team
  • DBS registered to the update service or willing to apply for one
