We are seeking a skilled Hosting Services Manager to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our hosting services, ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, and providing exceptional support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage vendors and technical specialists to provide proactive and reactive technical support for our information systems infrastructure.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, including 'Fix on Fail', management of change requests, support requests, proactive performance monitoring, and management.
- Manage platforms for business services and application services.
- Deliver small-scale development projects according to Bupa's project methodology, ensuring they are completed to agreed specifications, timescales, and budgets.
- Manage service providers and contract resources necessary to provide the platforms and services.
- A detailed understanding and practical knowledge of the provision of platforms and services.
- The ability to provide thought leadership with regards to the provision of platforms and services.
- Proven experience in managing budgets of > £1m and financial planning activities.
- A wide knowledge of how the marketplace is developing platforms and services.
- Practical involvement in all stages of the delivery lifecycle, from feasibility through to support.
