Senior Data Protection Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Specialist to lead our organization's data privacy program globally. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of data protection professionals and providing strategic support and advice to the wider business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience of data privacy matters, with a strong understanding of GDPR regulations and a proven track record of implementing data protection strategies. You will be responsible for reviewing our global data protection and governance strategy, providing regulatory guidance, and undertaking detailed Privacy Impact Assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the organization's data privacy program globally
  • Managing a small team of data protection professionals
  • Providing strategic support and advice to the wider business
  • Reviewing and implementing data protection strategies
  • Undertaking detailed Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Collaborating with the Information Security function to maintain records of all data assets and exports
  • Managing data privacy contracts with third-party data processors
