Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Discipline Manager to lead our electrical engineering team in the UK operation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business:
    • Ensure all discipline activities conform to the corporate SHEQ Plan.
    • Implement and adhere to project quality plans.
    • Manage discipline resources and work assignments to meet company objectives.
    • Contribute to company proposals, including assessment and estimation of work scope.
  2. Technical:
    • Supervise and lead teams carrying out electrical engineering for renewable energy assets.
    • Provide skilled discipline resources for projects.
    • Supervise analysis and design reports, and lead design work where necessary.
    • Specify, lead, and supervise electrical power system studies and grid compliance studies.
  3. Department:
    • Develop and maintain the discipline structure within the UK operation.
    • Recruit, select, and assign staff and contractors.
    • Provide training, mentoring, and assistance in continuous professional development.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with over 10 years' experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in power systems and renewable energy. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, commercial awareness, and strong work ethic.

Desirable skills include coding skills in Python, C++, and similar engineering applications, as well as experience working with HVAC and HVDC systems.
