  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless production operations and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
  • Interface with maintenance planners and stores personnel to ensure timely provision of spare parts and materials.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Engineering skills obtained through a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent (NVQ Level 3).
  • Multi-skilled with proven basic electrical competency.
  • Continuous improvement and root cause analysis skills.
  • Literate and numerate (GCSE level English and Maths or equivalent desirable).
  • Ability to interpret documentation in English Language.
  • Experience in food FMCG or equivalent process industry.
