About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Career Pathways Manager. This exciting opportunity will play a key role in developing and implementing career pathways for our staff, as well as attracting talent into Social Care through the provision of career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of services provided by Falkirk Social Services Assessment Centre
  • Collaborate with a wide range of partner agencies and services, including Higher Education Institutions, Registration and Scrutiny Bodies, and Council and HSCP services
  • Represent the Social Work Service in meetings with educational, research and innovation institutions, and awarding bodies in the design, development and delivery of training and education programmes
  • Develop and implement career pathways for staff, including apprenticeships and vocational awards
  • Supervise a team of Assessor-Verifiers and Assessors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 9 or equivalent qualification and a SQA Care Services Leadership and Management Award at SCQF level 10 or equivalent.
