In this rewarding role, you will join a multidisciplinary team at Merton Domiciliary Therapies and Merton Holistic Assessment and Rapid Intervention Team, providing high-quality rehabilitation services to the local community.

As an experienced occupational therapist, you will play a key role in supporting adults living with frailty and complex health needs, optimising their independence, health, and wellbeing in their own homes. This involves delivering specialist occupational therapy services, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to service development and improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing highly specialist occupational therapy services to patients in their own homes and clinic settings, focusing on mobility, independence, and wellbeing.
  2. Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with complex physical health needs.
  3. Collaborating with the Clinical Lead in planning and delivering occupational therapy services, ensuring compliance with professional standards and best practices.
  4. Supporting junior staff members and students in developing their skills and knowledge.
  5. Contributing to service reviews, development, and research, with a focus on improving occupational therapy services and patient outcomes.
